Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?
Have you ever heard the phrase “You are special, just like everyone else.” with particular sarcasm from the person saying it? Thinking of that, individual worth and individuality seem somewhat trite.
Even after all these years being “unique” seems childish. I guess it is much easier to believe no one is really special and we’ll never amount to more than other people.
Looking at the evidence though, I’m not quite sure. Every person goes through a different adventure and that is what makes humanity and living such a beautiful thing.
These are the certain aspects of life I believe that make a person unique.
- Their genetics– it is physically I possible to have the exact genes as another person.
- Their siblings and parents– we become physically connected to our parents and share those parents at times with siblings.
- Their thoughts and passions– even if we share similar interests, we creat for ourselves thought by thought, action by action what we love and do.
- Their entire life journey– although people share similar stories and characteristics throughout their life, they uniquely experience life like no one in the world can.
There are probably many more, but these are the ones that came to mind today.
