I’ve been hankering for nostalgic shows and movies lately! I sat myself down and did a quick search for Johnny Bravo (1997-2004) and saw this.
This isn’t the greatest thing I’ve ever seen, but Johnny is a funny character, even if he is a narcissistic Elvis impersonator with no real respect for women. As a kid, I didn’t really think about the implications behind his behavior. I just thought it was funny how women slapped and kicked him all the time.
From an animation standpoint, the character movement was simple but not overly cheap. I did not like how blurry the backgrounds were, though.
I’ll keep looking into this show, but for now, it has a solid 6/10 from me for this episode! That basically means there were various interesting aspects in the episode, like Johnny as a character, but nothing to really gush about.
