What is your favorite type of weather?
I love several types of weather. Usually, it depends on how well I can walk in it without feeling miserable.
1. I love it when it snows and I can take quiet walks in the forest. Last Tuesday it was snowing up in Santa Fe so I went on an adventure walk in search of a trail. I never found the trail but I did come across a stream and was able to collect a lot of pine resin.
2. I love misty mornings when hardly anybody is out. This usually means I can go out walking without anyone bothering me. Sometimes the mist will leave dew or frost on the leaves I can take pictures of.
3. I love warm, summer rain showers because I can play in the puddles and jump around. I like to keep my shoes off and walk around the neighborhood, splashing my way down the street.
4. Sunny, yet chilly autumn mornings might be my favorite in the world if I live near a forest. Some of my fondest childhood memories include taking my dogs out and walking on forest trails near my house while the leaves are changing.

I like misty weather or when it’s drizzling when I go hiking. 🙂 🌧️ But I usually just enjoy being in nature unless it’s super hot.
